The UMass North Residence Hall Apartments are a great option when staying in Amherst during the summer. The North Residential Apartments are suite-like, air-conditioned apartments, each accommodating a total of four individuals in four single, individually lockable bedrooms. Each bedroom has one twin bed, a desk and a dresser. In each suite there are also two full shared bathrooms, a shared living room and a shared kitchen. The kitchen has a stove, microwave and refrigerator, but no other kitchen appliances, utensils or dishware is provided. Similarly, no toiletries are included. Linen packs consisting of two sheets, a blanket, a pillow, a pillow case, and two towels can be reserved online for $10 per set. All attempts will be made to accommodate accessibility needs and suitemate requests, so please be sure to make note of any such requests on the following page or contact the Conference Registration office to discuss any needs or concerns further. All efforts will also be made to house guests in gender specific suites with other participants of the same workshop unless requested otherwise.

Check-in: after 1pm on the date of arrival
Check-out: by 11am on the date of departure
Guests will be sent a credit card authorization form after their room reservation has been processed. This form must be completed and returned to the Conference Registration office by fax or mail before your arrival to campus. The card provided on this form will be kept on file for the length of your stay to cover any potential apartment damages, lost keys and/or lost access cards. A $50 charge will be assessed for each key and a $20 charge will be assessed for each access card that is not returned at check-out. The return of keys or cards after check-out will not be accepted.
Further information, including specific building assignments, will be sent to all guests closer to the conference start date.
Complimentary parking is available in Lot 44, the large lot located adjacent to the North Residential Complex. Guests must obtain a parking pass to this lot when they check-in with the desk clerk and must have this pass prominently displayed at all times to avoid potential ticketing and/or towing.
Conferees canceling their registration on or before the close of business (5pm EST) on Friday, May 30 will receive a full refund of their fees minus a $50 cancellation-processing fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after 5pm on May 30, 2014.
