Online registration is now closed. To register please come to the on-site registation table on the 2nd Floor Concourse of the UMass Campus Center. On-site registration will be open from 9:00am - 7:00pm on Friday and from 7:30am - 12pm on Saturday.




New this year:

-Individual Registration: A registration form is required for each individual attendee and each registration must be made separately.
-Keynote Speaker: Due to space limitations, our keynote speaker will speak on both Friday and Saturday evenings to ensure that all are able to attend. An admission ticket will be in your registration packet. You will be asked to select which day you would like to attend on the registration page.
-Speakers' Notes: Speakers’ Notes in electronic format will be e-mailed to all registrants free of charge before the Conference. Paper copies of the Speakers’ Notes will not be available for purchase at the conference, but may be ordered using a link provided in the email.
-Key/Access Card Deposit: There is a $50 refundable key/access card deposit for both the traditional dorms and the North Residence Halls. The $50 check will be returned uncashed when both the key and access card are returned in their original condition at check-out. See below for more information.
-Housing Assignments: Conference Services Registration staff makes every attempt to accommodate all room/suite assignment requests but there are no guarantees. Priority is given to early registrants. Housing assignments will be sent in late June - please do not contact the Registration office until July 5th with questions about your rooming assignment.

Registrations can be made by mail, fax or by using this online registration page. No phone registrations are accepted. Please note that no registration fee is required for children under 13.

Both the registration fee and fees for meals and lodging (if selected) must be made in full when registering. If you select to pay by check using this online registration page you should mail your registration fees to the address below within two weeks. Checks should be made out to UMass Conference Services. There is a $35 fee for returned checks.

Group Registration
The registration fee for 20 or more people registering as a group is $157.50 per person (a 10% discount). To be eligible for the discount all registrations must be mailed to Conference Services in the same envelope before the June 21 deadline and must be prepaid in full, including meals and housing (if selected). You cannot register for the group discount online. No group discounts will be accepted after June 21. There is no discount on meals or lodging, and Group Registrations are not eligible for refunds in the event of cancellation.


Meal Plans
The meal options are:
        -Six prepaid meals - Fri: dinner; Sat: breakfast, lunch dinner; Sun: breakfast, lunch
        -Five prepaid meals - Sat: breakfast, lunch, dinner; Sun: breakfast, lunch
        -Food Service on a cash basis available in the Campus Center and in the Worcester Dining Commons

On-Campus Housing
Please note: NECCC suggests that no children under the age of five stay in the dorms.

Traditional Dormitories
Attendees can select to stay in a non-air-conditioned traditional dormitory hall on Friday and Saturday night. Each resident will have a twin bed, dresser, desk and chair in their room. Public bathrooms are centrally located on each floor and rest rooms and public areas are cleaned daily, Monday through Friday. Linens (sheets, a blanket, a pillow, a pillowcase and two towels) are provided for each occupant. No toiletries are provided and it is recommended that you bring a small desk-top fan.

All fully paid conferees staying in the traditional dormitories should go directly to their assigned buildings to pick up their registration packages. Housing assignments will be sent in late June to fully paid conferees. Detailed instructions on parking will be mailed with your confirmation of registration. All dorms and apartments must be vacated by 2 p.m. Sunday.


North Residence Halls
The North Residence Halls are suite-like, air-conditioned apartments that are available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. If you stay Thursday night you must also reserve for Friday and Saturday nights. Each apartment accommodates a total of four individuals and includes four single, individually lockable bedrooms. Every bedroom has one twin bed, a desk and a dresser. In each suite there are also two full shared bathrooms, a shared living room and a shared kitchen. The kitchen has a stove, microwave and refrigerator, but no other kitchen appliances, utensils or dishware is provided. Similarly, no toiletries are included. The North Residence Halls are very popular, so book early!

All fully paid conferees staying in the North Residence Halls should go directly to their assigned buildings to pick up their registration packages. Housing assignments will be sent in late June to fully paid conferees. Detailed instructions on parking will be mailed with your confirmation of registration. All dorms and apartments must be vacated by 2 p.m. Sunday.


Roommate and Suitemate Requests
Individuals or groups who wish to share the same dormitory or North Residence Hall suite must designate such on the registration page. Conference Registration staff makes every attempt to accommodate all room/suite assignment requests but there are no guarantees. Priority is given to early registrants. Housing assignments will be sent in late June to fully paid conferees - please do not contact the Conference Registration Office before July 5th to inquire about housing assignments.

Accessibility Needs
Explanatory notes for special medical requirements and/or handicap access facilities will be honored on an as-received basis and cannot be assured. Some of the available dorms will not have elevators so be sure to make note of any accessibility needs when you register. For specific handicap-access information on dorms, suites or classrooms, contact Conference Services at 413-577-8102.

Key/Access Card Deposit
There is a $50 refundable key/access card deposit for both dorms and the North Residence Halls. Payment of the key/access card deposit must be by check payable to UMass/Conference Services which  should be presented at check-in. Do not mail it with your registration. The $50 check will be returned uncashed when both the key and access card are returned in their original condition at time of check-out. Returns after the end of the Conference will not be accepted. You will be charged $20 for a lost/damaged access card and $30 for a lost/damaged key.

Cancellation Policies
Conference Cancellation Procedures
Should you find it necessary to cancel, individual registrants whose cancellations are received in writing on or before July 8 will receive a refund minus a $35 cancellation fee; after July 8 registrants will receive a refund minus a $35 cancellation fee, one night’s dorm payment and the cost of any meal plan selected.  Absolutely no refunds will be granted after the Conference begins.

Pre-Conference Workshops/Portfolio Review Cancellation Policy
If you have to cancel, your fee will be refunded, minus a $10 processing fee, if your cancellation is received by Conference Services (e-mail or letter) before June 27. Absolutely no refunds will be granted after this date.
