What is the Revisioning Sustainability Conference?
Revisioning Sustainability is a working-conference held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. At this conference we provide an array of innovative examples and hands-on skill building within the intersection of food and sustainability. At Revisioning Sustainability, attendees will:

·Explore diverse models of institutional food systems sustainability work
          ·Participate in experiential learning programs
·Gain hands-on skill building in permaculture design and more
·Explore transformative strategies for implementing innovative food systems sustainability programs at your
           own institution
·Establish an international network of students, faculty, staff, businesses, and community members working to
create a culture of which supports regenerative food systems

At this premiere gathering of food sustainability and permaculture professionals, we bring together campus and community leaders from permaculture initiatives, programs such as the Real Food Challenge, sustainable procurement professionals, progressive administrators, and student advocates from campuses nationwide in order to collectively develop new ideas, strengthen existing networks, and gain tools that will aide in the cultivation of a truly regenerative world.

When and where?
The conference will be held June 22 – 25, 2014 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, located in Amherst, Massachusetts.

who should register?
The RSC conference is designed for students, academic staff and faculty, foodservice staff and administrators, and businesses.

why attend?
Meet phenomenal people and reimagine your potential as a change-maker at your campus, institution, community, or in your own home! Be inspired by new ways of thinking about the role of food in our efforts to regenerate the world around us. Leave with new ideas, tools, and strategies for re-envisioning our food systems as a means for regeneration.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about campus permaculture initiatives, waste recovery and composting systems, food justice, the Real Food Challenge, how to build a garden, marketing strategies, how to create successful action plans, and much more. Revisioning Sustainability will explore the most innovative work being done on campuses in relation to food systems today, using these as inspiration and replicable models to take home to your own institution.

the benefits of coming with a group
We recommend having three or more individuals from the same institution attend this working-conference for multiple reasons. We've found that working in groups increases a project or program's success rate compared to a single person working on it alone. The cost per individual is also reduced by registering as a group.
